Sri Varamahalakshmi Vrata and the festival of Shri Mahalakshmi Devi are celebrated on the second Friday of the Shravan month at the Temple in Chitradurga.

Navratri festival special

  1. The devotees decorate Gangaabhisheka and Sri Shailaputri Decoration to Amma.
  2. Sri Brahmachaarini decoration is decorated for Amma.
  3. Shree Chandraghanta Matha decoration is decorated for Amma
  4. Shree Kushmanda Matha decoration is decorated for Amma.
  5. Shri Skandamatha decoration is decorated for Amma.
  6. Shree Kathiaini devi decoration is decorated for Amma.
  7. Sri Mahasaraswati Matha decoration is decorated for Amma.
  8. Shree Kalimatha decoration is decorated for Amma.
  9. Shree Dhanalakshmi Matha decoration is decorated for Amma
  10. Mahalakshmi Amma is decorated with various flowers at 4:00 pm followed by worship at the Ganesha Temple at Downstairs. The service is very special. This service is very special in our district and surrounding districts.
